My New Career – The Job Interview

March 6, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Ok, I only have a few minutes, I am expecting a phone call any minute from my new Russian employer.

I contacted Andrey last night and due to the time difference we had to conduct our job interview via email. I thought you would be interested to see the types of questions that international companies ask.

Questions for Financial Manager Candidate

1. What are your career goals?

2. How do you feel about working remotely?

3. Do your have your bank account number readily available? If not, please pause and retrieve it.

4. What are your career strengths?

5. Have you or your family ever been a member of Interpol?

6. In addition to your primary checking account, what is the account number to your savings account? Money Market? 401k?

7. Are your parents still alive? If yes, what are their account numbers?

8. Do you feel that “cable theft” is really a crime or just propaganda to deny the people something that is rightfully theirs?

9. What are your qualifications for management?

10. Do you have immediate access to the American “Wal Mart” and it’s wondrous collection of jeans that are blue?

11. Do you have any unattractive male friends or family that would be interested in a beautiful bride?

12. Would you be interested in being our United Way chairman?

After our interview, I left my current boss a rather scathing voice mail last night announcing my pending resignation, then I may have signed him up to participate in the clinical trials of the next generation of E.D. therapies.
