Welcome to The Sales Wars
Then this is the blog for you.Ever had a sales manager that used the word “value add” every five minutes?
Ever done a presentation to a room full of people wearing golf shirts from your competitor?
Ever interrupted someone at a funeral to get the status of a purchase order?
My name is Kevin Sasser and I, along with the help of Kevin Cahill and some other close friends, contribute to The Sales Wars (TSW).
We started TSW to capture some of the adventures, mishaps, and dumb luck that regularly occurs in the world of enterprise software sales and to let those new to the profession know that it’s not just them, sales is not easy.
We also wanted to use this a platform for teaching and reinforcing those best practices that separate the top performers from the average.
You have to battle with passion to be successful. You have to win the fight to win the battle, win the battle to win the war, win the war to reach your goals.
Most of the stories come from our experiences in selling content management, document management, knowledge management, financial services solutions, and professional services.
We appreciate you visiting our site and welcome any ideas and contributions.

Hi Kevin
I’m young and I work in Marketing and Sales. I sell ERP, e-Commerce and warehousing Software.
The market is very hard right now with this economy the way it is.
Large corporation aren’t buying and my cold call sales have increased 200% just to find leads.
I look forward to reading more of your blog.
Stop by and visit me sometimes! I left the url in this reply.
Cheers,
Brian B
